Irene Hanan is a graduate of Hillel Yeshiva Elementary School (Class of ‘93) and High School (Class of ‘97). She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Monmouth University. In addition to being a board member of the Sephardic Community Alliance, Irene is involved in many community organizations. Having a passion for the State of Israel, she is the chair of the Israel Advocacy Department of the Sephardic Community Center spearheading events to help foster a love and connection to Israel. Irene is the treasurer of the Naomi Houllou A”H Ladies Auxiliary for the Yeshivah of Flatbush and is board member of Allegra Franco Women’s Bet Midrash & Teaching Fellowship. Irene is also excited to oversee SCA’s new Young Adult Division.
