There is a broadening and alarming gap between our community’s cherished values and those our youth are exposed to on social media, in academia, politics, entertainment, and society at large. We established the SCA OnCampus Division to help prepare our young adults in High School for the collision with the dangerous ideas, values and norms that is inevitable with living, studying, and working in the world. Once they are post high school, we support them with educational, social, and religious programming to keep them connected to their values through the post high school phase on into adulthood.
Working together with community schools, affiliates, Rabbis, and national resource partners we equip them with the tools to navigate the issues of:
-
- Antisemitism on Campus & Beyond
- Israel Advocacy
- Strengthening Sephardic/Jewish Pride and Identity
- Social Media Literacy
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Cancel Culture, Conspiracy Theories, and the “Woke” agenda
- The disturbing values being normalized and promoted by society—especially those directed at increasingly younger people.
